The town of Westport in the Buller region has been hit with severe flooding in recent years. So when the council required one of the main pipeline outfalls to be renewed, Tru- Line brought a solution to the table. Parts of the old infrastructure were 1800’s, so Tru-Line worked closely with NZ Heritage & Engineers to proceed carefully.

Specialist Work Required: Working below the tide line on the banks of the mighty Buller River required extreme skill, patience & teamwork. The concrete pipeline and associated concrete structures were installed with great accuracy and quality ensuring further improvements on this pipeline can now proceed.
